R&D Technician (M/F)

Permanent Position – On-site- Based in Saratoga, NY

Your Role

As a member of the FARM R&D Division, you will play a key role in developing and optimizing innovative formulations that contribute to the safety and efficiency of agricultural and food production systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and regulatory affairs to bring new technologies from concept to implementation.

Key Responsibilities

·        Design and execute formulation trials using new technologies and ingredients. Monitor stability and performance over time.

·        Collaborate with production teams to scale up formulations and conduct pre-industrialization tests.

·        Evaluate the functional and chemical impact of ingredients on product performance and stability.

·        Stay up to date with emerging technologies and actively contribute to innovation scouting and research initiatives.

·        Maintain lab equipment, ensure proper calibration, and contribute to the overall organization and safety of the lab environment.

·        Ensure accurate and timely documentation of experiments, results, and conclusions. Prepare detailed study reports and technical summaries.

·        Adhere to internal procedures and contribute to continuous improvement efforts in line with Kersia’s commitment to quality, safety, and corporate social responsibility.

·        Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations (e.g., EPA, REACH, CFIA).

·        Troubleshoots formulation issues during production or field application.

·        Documents and reports formulation processes, test results, and improvements.

·        Supports innovation by researching new active ingredients, delivery systems, or sustainable alternatives
