This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team pivotal to the growth of a highly successful manufacturer of specialist hygiene and biosecurity chemicals, supply to over 70 different countries & have a clear focus on growing their export market share. We have a requirement for a full time Import / Export Coordinator assisting the Export Manager in being the liaison between the different sales reps, international customers and the in-house operational departments.

Key Responsibilities

·        Assist customers with preparing and consolidating orders.

·        Obtain shipping quotations and respond to related queries.

·        Prepare export documentation and support export administration.

·        Liaise with relevant authorities as required.

·        Coordinate export compliance in collaboration with the production team.

·        Manage import documentation and ensure compliance with customs regulations.

·        Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any delays.

·        Communicate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers for both import and export processes.

·        Maintain accurate records of all import/export transactions for audit and reporting purposes.

·        Ensure adherence to international trade laws, tariffs, and duty requirements.

·        Perform other duties appropriate to the position and occasionally support team members.

Perfil

·        Ideally have an International Business, or export administration background.

·        Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate communication between teams and with customers and colleagues of diverse origins

·        Strong attention to detail

·        Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

·        Calm and confident with problem solving skills.

·        Ability to continually improve quality and effectiveness in all activities

·        Organized and efficient to meet deadlines and deliver objectives

·        Flexibility and the ability to work as part of a team but also on own initiative

·        IT literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
