Mission

Purchasing & Procurement

- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers in alignment with company quality and cost standards.

- Develop and implement sourcing strategies based on long-term objectives, including annual plans reflecting added value, quality enhancements and risk management.

- Understand and manage the risks associated with assigned supplier and product portfolio

- Monitor and communicate market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply-chain risks.

- Maintain accurate purchasing records, contracts, and pricing details.

Supplier Management

- Negotiate pricing, terms, and long‑term supply agreements.

- Conduct supplier evaluations (quality, service, delivery, cost).

- Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve supplier issues related to delays, shortages, or quality concerns.

- Participate in supplier audits with Quality and Operations teams.

Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination

- Collaborate with Production Planning to forecast raw material needs.

- Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of all raw materials.

- Identify potential supply disruptions and initiate mitigation strategies.

- Support continuous improvement efforts across the supply chain.

Quality & Compliance

- Ensure all raw materials meet regulatory and internal quality standards.

- Provide alignment and governance of regional and global purchasing polices

Cost Management & Reporting

- Track and report purchasing KPIs such as cost savings and supplier performance.

- Identify cost‑reduction opportunities through negotiations or alternate sourcing.

- Provide forecasts and budget information related to raw material costs.

Profile

Required:

- 3–5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles.

- Experience sourcing raw materials in manufacturing, chemical, food, or industrial sectors.

- Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier‑relationship skills.

- Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).

- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.

Preferred:

- Experience in regulated industries such as chemical, food safety, or pharmaceutical.

- Knowledge of logistics, global sourcing, and supply‑chain risk management.

- Familiarity with quality systems and material specifications
