Information on the processing of your personal data
Introduction
The Kersia Group[1] attaches great importance to your privacy and to the manner in which your personal data is handled. For this reason, we hereby inform you of how Kersia International and, where applicable, any other entity of the Kersia Group involved in the recruitment (hereinafter "KERSIA") collect and process this data, as well as the rights you have in this regard.
Data collected
KERSIA, in its capacity as data controller, collects and processes personal information about you in its database, namely, your surnames, first names, home address, telephone number, email address, education, professional experience, diplomas, distinctions, etc., and more broadly, any information and personal data that you will spontaneously communicate as part of your application.
Answers corresponding to the fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory and failure to respond may compromise the follow-up of your application. In other cases, they are optional and have no consequences on the examination of your file.
KERSIA informs you that it may also enrich your profile with information about you, i.e. information collected (i) during its exchanges with you, whether written, telephone or physical interviews and (ii) from professional social networks or from any public source of information, when this information is useful for the management of your application.
Purposes
This information is subject to computer processing for the purpose of managing your application. Your data may also be included in a CV library, which will allow KERSIA to make you other offers, if necessary.
Legal bases
Given its purpose, which is to process the personal data of candidates applying to job offers and the integration of data on candidates into the KERSIA CV library, the processing of your personal data is necessary for the pursuit of KERSIA's legitimate interests, namely the management of its recruitment processes, as well as the execution of pre-contractual measures that may exist between KERSIA and the candidates responding to its job offers.
Processor
To facilitate recruitment, KERSIA uses the Cegid HR Talent Acquisition software, edited by the company CEGID, which allows job offers to be communicated, applications to be collected and managed.
KERSIA acts as the data controller of the personal data communicated and CEGID acts as a data processor.
In its capacity as a KERSIA processor, CEGID is authorized to access your personal information when necessary, in particular in the context of its administration and maintenance of the Company's careers website and the application management tool, but may not communicate this data to its own processors without having obtained KERSIA's prior consent. CEGID may be required to transmit your personal data to a judicial authority, at the request of the latter.
Data recipients and transfers
Given the international nature of the Group, the personal data that we collect may be transferred outside of your territory, but always with the exclusive aim of fulfilling the purposes detailed above. KERSIA declares that it has taken the necessary measures to supervise transfers and to protect your personal data. You may, on simple request to KERSIA, ask for complete information on the data transferred, the exact recipients of the information and the means implemented to supervise this transfer.
Retention
This data is hosted in France and will be transmitted to the people in charge of recruitment within KERSIA in order to allow them to study your application.
Candidates’ personal data will be kept for a maximum period of 2 years after the last contact with our recruitment department, the notion of last contact being understood as the date on which you consented to the collection of your data. Candidates' personal data may be kept beyond this period if they consent to it.
Data Security
We inform you that your data is computerized and treated confidentially; security and confidentiality guarantees have been taken to preserve the personal data put online.
Notification of personal data breaches
In the event of a breach or suspected breach of personal data that requires it, we undertake to notify the supervisory authority no later than 72 hours after becoming aware of it, and, if necessary, to inform you.
Data Protection Officer (DPO)
The appointment of a data protection officer is not mandatory in every country.
Thus, in cases where the appointment of a DPO is not mandatory, no DPO is appointed, but compliance with personal data regulations is handled by the Group’s Legal & Compliance Director, who can be contacted at the following address: https://gdpr.kersia-group.com.
A DPO is appointed in cases where such an appointment is mandatory.
