General Accountant

Permanent Contract – Based in Hyderabad – Telangana

 

The General Accountant will join the team during a phase of ERP implementation (Oracle).

The onboarding will start with training to the new system. After ERP go‑live, the role will focus on day‑to‑day finance operations while contributing actively to ERP stabilization and continuous improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Participate in ERP training and support the transition through go‑live

·         Perform general accounting activities and manage month‑end closing

·         Provide support on tax and statutory accounting matters

·         Manage bank reconciliations, accruals, and payroll accounting, including payroll tax follow‑up

·         Prepare and submit financial reports using Cognos and FCRS

·         Contribute to forecasting activities, including annual budget preparation and forecast follow‑up

·         Support the preparation of monthly performance reviews and business analysis

·         Assist with internal and external audits and ensure compliance with internal controls

·         Contribute to credit and collection activities in coordination with Customer Service, Commercial team, including follow‑up, reporting and process alignment

Profile

The ideal candidate is an operational and hands‑on finance professional with the ability to work with a good level of autonomy on daily accounting tasks while remaining closely aligned with the APAC Finance Director on reporting, controls, and key decisions.

They are reliable, detail‑oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of routine finance activities, with the agility to adapt in a transforming environment. Ideally, the applicant has hands-on experience in Oracle / SAP/ Talley or other ERP system (Oodo, Zoho,…).

The role requires someone who can quickly integrate into a new ERP system (Oracle), contribute pragmatically to post go‑live stabilization, and support both operational execution and performance analysis in a structured and compliant manner.
