Mission

The Sales Representative is accountable for selling AgroChem products and/or services and for leading/facilitating all contact with key and target customers within a defined territory or market segment. Specifically, this position is responsible for:

1. Revenue Management

  • Ensures that the full value of AgroChem’s products and/or services is presented to key and target customers.
  • Identifies pricing levels and opportunities.
  • Monitors activity levels and revenues from customers and reports on performance.
  • Works with the business unit managers to maximize the utilization of the Company’s facilities.

2. Customer Management

  • Manages the relationship with key and target customers.
  • Establishes contract terms and conditions with key and target customers.
  • Identifies and proposes new services to key/target customers to expand the Company’s business.
  • Reports on customer satisfaction and concerns.
  • Co-ordinates with management throughout the Company to expand and improve relationships with key and target customers.
  • Creates incremental sales volume opportunities (work with dealer’s management, sales and customer base).

3. Brand Presentation/Product Knowledge

  • Differentiates AgroChem’s Products to key and target customers.
  • Provides technical product knowledge support to customers in ways that establishes and maintains the integrity of the Brand, product performance, quality and presentation.
  • Understands the Company’s business, its industry and operations to clearly articulate the key features and benefits relevant to all stakeholders

4. Market Intelligence

  • Provides comprehensive market reports clearly presenting business opportunities, critical success factors and market expectations.
  • Consolidates and analyzes customer intelligence and competitor activities.
  • Provides reports on customer and competitor initiatives in the market.
  • Identifies key/target customers, develops plan for approval, implements and reports on progress.
  • Gathers and communicates information on competitors and presents specific competitor strategies.
  • Develops strategy to win against competitors and reports on progress.
  • Develops new distribution channels while maintaining balance with existing channels.

5. Communications / Reporting

  • Communicates with operations management to enhance awareness of, and responsiveness to, customers.
  • Reports regularly on issues effecting customers through concise analysis with recommendations.
  • Builds, presents and executes business plans related to the area of responsibility.

Profil

AgroChem USA LLC is a leading national producer of sanitation and animal health products for the dairy industry. The success of our products has led to rapid growth and we have a new opening for a factory representative in the Midwest focusing on Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota and Nebraska.

As a factory representative you will work with new and existing dealers to increase sales and market share of AgroChem products within your region. As an industry expert you will educate dealers and dairyman on industry best practices and the advantages of AgroChem products. Ideally you will have knowledge of dairy or related industries. Travel will be required.
